International Students on an M-1 Student Visa are required to study a minimum of 22 hours per week at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute.

Due to strict immigration policies, we strongly suggest applications arrive at the Institute at least six weeks before a session start date in order to ensure the M-1 Student Visa is obtained in time. Applications will be accepted closer to the start date, but students must realize that their M-1 Student Visa may not be processed in time and their start date could be delayed until the next session.

Additonally, all international students are required to be interviewed over the phone before their application can be accepted. Appointments can be arranged via e-mail or telephone. No international student will be admitted without a telephone interview.
